What is an airbag module reset / crash data clear?
After a crash or seatbelt deployment, the airbag ECU often stores crash data and keeps the airbag light on. A crash data reset clears that record so you can reuse the original module instead of buying a new dealer unit.
Do you sell airbag modules or clusters?
No. We reset the module you already have. We do not sell replacement ECUs, airbags, or instrument clusters.

How much does an airbag module reset cost?
Most crash data resets are £35. Complex modules are £46. Motorhome B0100-49 is £65. That covers crash data clear and testing before return.
Is VAT included?
Yes. Prices shown on the site are all-in. There is no plus-VAT add-on at checkout for the reset itself.
Do you price match?
Yes. Send a genuine like-for-like quote for the same crash data reset service and we will match it.
What does the price include?
Crash data cleared from your airbag module, testing before return, and a unit ready to fit when it comes back. Return postage is chosen separately at checkout.
Ordering and finding your module
Match the label, order online, then post only the ECU.
How do I find the right reset for my car?
Use the homepage finder by brand and model, search the part number on the ECU label, or WhatsApp a clear photo of the sticker and we will send you the correct listing link.
Do I remove the module myself?
Yes for the postal service. Many customers or their garage remove the ECU, post it to us in Manchester, then plug it back in when it returns.
What should I send?
Post only the airbag module / ECU with your order reference inside the parcel. Keep brackets on the vehicle unless we ask for them. Pack so the connector pins cannot rattle.
What if my part number is not listed?
WhatsApp a photo of the label or call 0161 303 8510. We will confirm whether we can reset it and which price band applies before you post.
Turnaround and postage
Same-day bench work on most morning arrivals, then return postage of your choice.
How long does an airbag module reset take?
For most modules, if we receive it in the morning, we complete the crash data reset and send it back the same day.
Is postage insured?
Return delivery options include insured services. Pack the module securely and include your order details inside the parcel. Use tracked outbound post when you send it to us.

Do you offer same-day airbag reset?
Yes for most modules that arrive on a weekday morning. Afternoon arrivals, weekends, and complex jobs may roll to the next working day.

What to expect when the module returns and the light still matters.
Will my airbag light go out?
Once the module is reset and correctly refitted, and any deployed bags, belts, or sensors have been replaced as needed, the light should clear.
What if you cannot reset it?
Tell us before you post if you are unsure. If we cannot do it after inspection, we will say so plainly and talk through the next step.
Do I need coding after a crash data reset?
Usually you refit your own module and the light clears once the restraint system is complete. Brand-new replacement ECUs often need dealer coding. Keeping the original unit avoids that in most cases.
Will an airbag light fail an MOT?
Yes in most cases. A permanently illuminated airbag or SRS warning is treated as a restraint-system fail until the fault is fixed and the lamp behaves correctly.
