What same-day airbag reset means
Same-day here is about bench turnaround, not magic overnight postage from every corner of the UK. For most modules, if we receive it in the morning, we complete the crash data reset and send it back the same day. That is the clock we control once the module is on our desk in Manchester.
Outbound and return transit still depend on the courier you choose and when the parcel leaves your end. We are honest about that. What we do not do is add a separate same-day fee on top of the fixed public reset price.
Why speed matters after a crash repair
By the time someone searches for same-day airbag reset, the hard bodywork is often finished. New bags and belts are in. The car is sitting on a ramp or in a customer bay with one problem left: the airbag ECU is still locked with crash data, so the light will not go out and the job cannot be signed off.

When the reset is done, we send your module back the way you choose at checkout. Royal Mail Tracked 24, Tracked 48, or free workshop collect if you are picking it up in Manchester. That return leg is separate from the reset price.

Do you offer same-day airbag reset?
For most modules, if we receive it in the morning, we complete the crash data reset and send it back the same day.
What counts as same-day service?
If the module arrives with us on a weekday morning and the job is a standard clearable reset, we aim to reset and dispatch it the same day. Afternoon arrivals, weekends, and complex jobs may roll to the next working day.
Is same-day airbag reset more expensive?
No separate same-day surcharge on the public list. Most resets are £35, complex £46, motorhome B0100-49 £65. Return shipping speed is chosen at checkout and that is what changes the return transit time.
Why do people need same-day after a crash repair?
The car is often nearly finished: bags and belts are in, bodywork is done, and the only blocker is the locked module. Getting the ECU back quickly means the garage can complete the job, clear the light, and release the vehicle.
How do I make same-day more likely?
Order online first, post early with a tracked service that lands in the morning, and include your order number clearly inside the parcel. WhatsApp the tracking number if you want us watching for it.
Can I drop the module at the workshop for same-day?
Local customers can arrange drop-off and collect at Universal Square, Devonshire St N, Manchester M12 6JH. Call or WhatsApp first so we know you are coming and can slot the unit into that day’s bench work.
